Hi there, my name is Joel. I work as a tandem master at Taupo Tandem Skydiving. In my blog I want to write about everyday happening for me on the job, and also the stuff that we get up to
when the weather is not so sunny. Furthermore I would like to show you a bit about Taupo. Also, check out my work mates I work with at the dropzone.
This will pretty much be a work in progress so bear with me as I build this page.

On the left here we are clowining around with one of our customers just before we are about to get out from the plane at 15000 feet. I get to meet a load of people mostly from overseas, so always something new to talk about. |

Thinking Green
We are currently in an active pursuit to make our Dropzone less of a drain on the environment around us and a greener workplace.
We know that we use alot of fuels and our carbon footprint is no doubt large. Join us as we try to reduce it. -Ask for your photos to be put on your pen drive. Save a disc from being used. -When you get a T-shirt take it without the paper bag. -Always put your recycling in the right bin. -Take our bus, it's going our way anyway and the less cars coming out the better. Please go one step further and donate a tree. Who knows how far our decisions today will take us...

Yesterday Today is international 'Star Wars' day... May the fourth be with you. Anyway So I thought I'd start by throwing some stuff out there.... My favourite dinner meal is butter chicken. My favourite lunch food is sushi and today during a break at work, due to high winds, I went and grabbed some sushi from the dairy and of the eight pieces i ate seven then while the 8th was in my mouth remembered that I wanted to have some green tea. So drove 6 blocks home with the final piece sitting in my mouth only to hit the curb on my driveway and loose sushi out of my mouth and flying onto my steering wheel then all over my car. Oh well. Some other things I love are getting a new season of 'samurai jack', snuggling with my kittens, making up new words, challenging my goat to a head butt competition, writing producing and filming my random movies and getting new socks. Damn yeah. Things I hate. Bad TV reception (we don't watch too much tho), running out of bread when I'm making toasts, when people tell me things I don't want to hear (mainly to do with cleaning and then thats when my selective hearing comes in. If people would tell me interesting things i would listen:-) ) Jonathan King (my nemesis) Oh yeah and when I can't find the droids I'm looking for.
