Our company was started in 1992. In 1998 it has been purchased by a Taupo based family with a long tradition in aviation and it is thanks to the new owners what Taupo Tandem Skydiving has become, one of New Zealands largest and most respected skydiving operations with modern aircraft and equipment.

Back in 1998 it only had about 15 staff, and it operated out of a house at the Taupo airfield. On the right you see some of the original crew from 1998. Today, we employ up to 35 people.

With this website we really wanted to create something different. Most websites you see are glib, clean, but do not change a lot or are written by the actual people who look after our customers day in day out. So, over time, we will hand creation and content over to our team. 

If you find a few spelling mistakes, that'll be fine. Keep 'em. What we want to bring across is the passion and energy that all our team brings to you, our customer.
